  • Neuro-enriched care means providing care that is specifically tailored to support and enhance the unique needs and strengths of each individual's brain and nervous system. This approach recognizes the incredible diversity of human neurology and embraces the idea that each person's brain and nervous system are complex and unique. Neuro-enriched care may involve a variety of techniques and interventions that are designed to stimulate and support the development of the brain and nervous system, including sensory integration, cognitive and behavioral therapies, and other evidence-based practices. The goal of neuro-enriched care is to help individuals with neurodivergent conditions reach their full potential and achieve their goals, while also promoting overall health and well-being.

  • Choosing a therapist can be a daunting task, but there are a few key things to consider when making your decision. First and foremost, it's important to find a therapist who specializes in the area that you're seeking help with. This might mean finding a therapist who has experience working with specific populations, such as children or individuals with neurodivergent conditions. It's also important to find a therapist who makes you feel comfortable and safe, as building a strong rapport with your therapist is essential for making progress in therapy. Other factors to consider might include the therapist's location, availability, and fees, as well as their approach to therapy and their qualifications and credentials. Ultimately, the most important thing is to find a therapist who you feel you can trust and who has the expertise and experience to help you achieve your goals.

  • A 15-minute consultation is a great opportunity to get to know your therapist and discuss your therapy goals and needs. During this time, your therapist will likely ask you a few questions about your background and what you hope to achieve in therapy. They may also provide you with some initial feedback and guidance on the types of therapy that might be most effective for your unique situation. Additionally, the consultation is a chance for you to ask any questions you may have about the therapy process, including what to expect in future sessions, the therapist's approach to therapy, and any concerns or questions you may have about your specific situation. By the end of the consultation, you should have a better sense of whether the therapist is a good fit for your needs, and you should have a clearer understanding of what you can expect from the therapy process moving forward.

  • At NEST, we want to provide our clients with the best care possible, which is why we offer therapy services that are not dependent on insurance coverage. While we do not accept insurance directly, we understand that some clients may wish to seek reimbursement from their insurance providers.

Upon request, we are happy to provide a super bill, which is a detailed invoice that includes all the necessary information for clients to submit a claim to their insurance company. This may include the diagnosis, treatment codes, and other relevant information. It's important to note that reimbursement from insurance providers is subject to their policies and coverage, and we recommend clients FIRST check with their insurance company directly to understand their specific reimbursement process and coverage details before scheduling.

By not accepting insurance directly, we are able to maintain our commitment to providing high-quality care without the limitations of insurance restrictions. Our focus is on delivering evidence-based and individualized therapy services to our clients, and we strive to work collaboratively with them to achieve their therapy goals. We are dedicated to being transparent and accommodating in our billing practices, and our team is always available to provide support and guidance regarding insurance reimbursement through super bills.

At NEST, we believe therapy is an individualized process that takes time, money, and commitment. One of the common questions we receive from our clients is, "How long will therapy last?"

The duration of therapy varies depending on many factors, including the nature and severity of your challenges, individual progress, and personal goals.

As a general guideline, therapy typically begins with an initial evaluation to better understand your, or your child’s, unique needs and develop a personalized treatment plan. A follow-up phone call will discuss the results, as well as, treatment plan recommendations specific to frequency and duration of therapy sessions.

As part of our intentional approach to therapy, we include informal check-ins with our clients every 3-4 months. These check-ins serve as opportunities to assess progress, reflect on goals, and determine next steps for continued support.

Our ultimate goal at NEST is to empower you to take flight on your own - to feel confident, resilient, and capable of navigating life’s challenges. We strive to create a therapeutic relationship that fosters growth, self-awareness, and personal empowerment. We believe that therapy is not just about addressing current concerns, but also about equipping you with the tools and skills to thrive in the future.

  • Therapy sessions are usually scheduled on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, and each session typically lasts around 45-60 minutes. However, the frequency and duration of therapy sessions can be tailored to your specific needs and preferences.
